Subject: Re: [TowerTalk] Removal of Coaxiseal
Probably not. A while back I purchased some used connectors for 1 5/8
Heliax and on a few of them someone had wrapped the butyl right on the
connector instead of taping it first. I used lacquer thinner and a
lot of elbow grease to clean them. They came out great however it was
not worth the effort. If coaxiseal is similar, it is probably much
easier to cut the connectors off and install new ones before properly
sealing them.

Is there an EASY and Effective way to remove coaxiseal ( that sticky
black "silly putty") used to seal up ones connectors from water?
