 I doubt they are being used in high freq trading. Not enough bandwidth at HF 
and the latency may be problematic. Oh, how about propagation? If it doesn't 
work for us, it won't work for anyone else, regardless of the amount of money 
they spend on it.
Isn't SteppIR in the Seattle area. Call them and maybe they can solve the 
question. Or go park your car near them and see if you can find the freq(s) in 
use.
BTW, how do you know they are non-ham installations?
