Hi Gene,

These look just like the trailer connectors I purchase from, my local auto parts store.

Dave:

    I use these https://thewireman.com/product/rotor-disconnect-8-pole-m-f/
in three places: at the top of the tower underneath the rotator shelf; at
the bottom of the tower so I can control the rotator from there when doing
maintenance; and inside the shack.

And another good source of trailer and other outside connectors plus other
useful items is Del City, https://delcity.net/
<https://catalog.delcity.net/Del-City-Interactive-Catalog-2021/1/>

I've purchased a few things from them lately for use in this salt air
environment and find the pricing reasonable and the service first class.
Last purchase was some jacketed trailer cable. Interesting inventory.

Maybe Amazon instead?

7-way truck and trailer connectors are common, inexpensive, tough and
weatherproof. Like this:

Subject: [TowerTalk] Connector advice

Greetings,

Soon I will be installing a Stackmaster remote switch on my tower. I
would like to connectorize it in case I ever have to remove it for
repair. I am looking for a five pin or six pin weather protected
connector set
(male/female) to use. Hopefully one that can be ordered from Mouser or
Digikey or similar.

What would be your choice?

Thanks for your thoughts,

Dave, K4TO
