On a related topic, I'm getting ready to put a Mosely PRO67-C-3 on a
tower. The instructions call for a coax choke, 10 turns of RG213 in a
10" diameter, taped to the boom, and within 3-6" of the choke, split the
coax and wire directly to the phasing lines on the two driven elements.
When I asked them if a conventional toroidal common mode choke would
work they said it would be likely to affect the tuning of the antenna. I
wondered if anyone can comment.
