On a related topic, I'm getting ready to put a Mosely PRO67-C-3 on a tower. The instructions call for a coax choke, 10 turns of RG213 in a 10" diameter, taped to the boom, and within 3-6" of the choke, split the coax and wire directly to the phasing lines on the two driven elements.

Hi John,

Matching the antenna to the feedline is part of the design of many Yagis. My advice has always been to use what the antenna mfr advises for matching, then add one of my chokes between that coil and the feedline. We add the more serious choke to prevent feedline pickup from adding noise and filling in the nulls.
