N2NL Sprint SSB
Very casual 1 hour or so of operating
67 Q's x 24 Mults = 1608
Kenwood TS 930s/80/40 vertical

Suprised that no one seemed to be in the 300's even close to the end
this time. Conditions seemed OK, even excellent on 80. This was a rare
excursion into the SSB potion of the bands for me, the only reason I got
on at all is that NJ seems to be extremely rare for the SSB sprint so I'd
figure to try to help a few out with the mult.
Actually had fun for once on 75M. Guess it's because I wasn't
serious. Started off quite but by the time most of the sprinters had
QSY'ed down the "pig farmers" were in full swing. Seemed that 3840-3860
was full of whistles, catcalling, SSTV crap, all kinds of QRM; with
contesters working right through it without much trouble. Really got one
guy hot after he jumped all over my QSO with W0UY with all kinds of bar
room language. Told him he was the person thay modeled that "King of the
Hill" TV show after! Did work UY later for a good QSO. K7RI and K7RAT I
was calling you on 80 till I was blue in the face but you couldn't hear
me through the garbage, so you can't say I didn't try to give ya NJ!
There will be a whole bunch of us Jersey stations in the CW sprint
so no one will have trouble atleast 1 mult next week!

73!
Dave
