High point of the contest was operating from HC8 without line noise
for the first time since 1992. Low point was working *0* Europeans on
160, but hey, this goes with the territory when you choose to operate
from the Pacific Ocean.

Never heard CN8WW. Go figure. Fun to work ZS6EZ on five bands and to
hear him on 160. He couldn't hear me however, and this proved to be a
common theme this year. I haven't read everyone's remarks yet, but I
get an idea that the world was experiencing QRN on 160 this year.

Flying back from Quito to Miami the captain announced "we have a
little ol' red light here in cockpit on one of our engines, so we will
be stopping in ZF2." Boy the people there sure are friendly! A bunch
of the locals were waiting at the airport in fire trucks to greet us
when we landed. What a great country!

Thanks to all for the contacts and for a very enjoyable contest.
