First, the totals:

967Q 511P = 1,291,297 - first time USA LP single band WPX CW score over 1meg

How does this compare with other contests? (Some questions about relative
activity level)

Rescoring my log for CQWW and manually counting zones:

967Q 34Z 92C = 296,604 (highest claimed USA 15LP from3830 was 835-34-112 =
353k)

Rescoring for ARRL CW:
967Q 89C = 207,993 (my score in 1999 ARRL CW - same station - was 821-86 =
212k)

Note that I did not call any mult more than once in this WPX test (so missed
probable ones like 8Q7, etc) because every mult is equally good. Thus,
from the viewpoint of a little pistol, the activity was very comparable in
the WPX CW with the CQWW and ARRL CW contests. I like the May time slot,
got to sleep in on Monday. Oh, yes, total time worked, 30 hours.
