One last hurrah from Paul's station before he begins teardown
for his move to Virginia. Little did I know it would be a
record setting weekend for me and for so many others.

W9 Record 2.649 Million, 1994, by me at KS9K (same station)
USA Record 4.538 Million, 1992, set by WN4KKN/6

The W9 record was broken at 23:37z the first day!
The USA record was broken at 16:47z second day.

For those concerned about:
 36 hours vs. 30 hours:
I only operated 31 hours. Throw out my worst hour and it's still
    a pretty good score.
 1 point USA-USA QSOs:
I had 509 USA stations call. As I mentioned in a previous post
to cq-contest, it was my lowest percentage of USA stations ever.
If they were 0 pointers, my score would have only decreased
    7% to 5.725M

I'm not a newbie to radio anymore, but I certainly don't ever
remember running Europe on 15M at 22z!! I don't mean one or two
stations calling in...I'm talking about 1-2 per minute!! It was
phenomenal!! And I was nearly equally impressed with JA's calling
in as early as 21z. And working JA's as late as 04z both
nights!! Cool!

Also what was amazing is that the lowest antenna was the loudest
antenna out of any combination for many EU stations calling in.
And I'm not talking about at the peak of the opening. All the
way until 3 hours after EU sunset (I would consider that the
band is closing for that path) the low antenna was great.
Sometimes the 4 stack was better, sometimes the single antenna
at 172' (52m) was better. We've never really experienced that
from here in Wisconsin. It was, at times, 2 S-units better than
any other combination. That means that pea-shooter stations
would have a much louder signal than the 4-stack! Neat!

One word sums up this contest: WOW!

Thanks for the Q's! See you at Dayton!!
