Good microwave totals this year. It was tough deciding between
microwave contacts in new grids and 6 meter double hop Es to W6 on
Sunday evening. Lots of rain (>3") late Saturday & Sunday kept the line
noise low for the first time in years. But the popup camper leaked.
The bed got wet but the equipment stayed dry. A couple hours of Au
early Sunday morning only netted 3-4 QSO's, all to the northwest. I
think most people were unaware of that opening. Another great contest
with no equipment problems.
