[3830] K4NNN Mini MM

...as operators showed up a few minutes before 00:00 one of them suggested
we go MM instead of watching the ten minute clock...end result would be more
points for the club - that got me - what the heck lets do it!  At one time
on Saturday night I was a one man multi-multi for a few hours :-) Note for
next year - just plan on doing MM and prearrange sleep schedules for ops!

Lotsa fun - gear worked great, tnx Top Ten Devices and WX0B Six pack for
making two of the three positions fully automated - in the closing hour of
the contest I was the jumping station and made QSOs on 10,15,80 and 160
while we CQ'd on 20 and 40....all by typing in frequencies....[with Mom's
new 87A helping :-)]

Sorry we didn't have any receiving antennas - especially considering how
well the low band condx were - new 80 meter vertical REALLY worked well...RX
Antennas = the next thing to add!

Without question my whole "multi-op endeavor" of the past decade has been
possible thanks to my parents, who have allowed me to erect a "couple" of
antennas...and the support from fellow members in the Florida Contest Group
in maintaining the antennas the past few months has been excellent.  This
past weekend was a kind of crescendo in that it was just operating and
almost no rig/antenna problems - Murphy must have penciled in the wrong
date!!

Again - how can you not love this stuff!  Still have to merge in one more
positions log...that floppy is sour and unreadable, this should be very
close total though .... how good a weekend was it: Great, and my .bad file
in CT was completely blank!!
