Comments:

Didn't do a full time effort for the first time ever.  Went out to church,
dinner and watched the games, so it looked like I missed a good 6M opening.  All
the participants should thank me for the opening cuz every time I take a break
in a VHF contest the band or bands open up.  Most common comments heard during
the contest: "Got any other bands?", "Don't have a key wired in the system"
(what do you have to wire?  Just put a jack on the end of cable from your key
and plug it in!) and my personal favorite when I asked someone if they wanted to
try cw because I figured they would be weak on a higher band- "CW? You have to
be kidding!"  It's always nice to meet old friends on these bands, and the neat
part is I will be working a lot of them in the 160M contest next week.
