Comments:

A fun get-togther of mostly night contesting.
Here's a description of the fun-filled event by
Station:

160m: Yaesu FT-1000MP, Ameritron AL-1200,
Low Dipole at 45 Feet

Operator: NY3A

Steve is a confirmed true blue CW operator,
he refuses to admit that there are aspects of
SSB contesting he enjoys. In fact, he had so much
fun on 160 that he went home to his house and
handed out even more contacts!

80m: Yaesu FT-1000MP, Ameritron AL-1200,
Dipole at 55 Feet

Operator: K3ZE

Al was seen pouncing on station letting out
comments such as "I'll have go get myself an
amplifier - this is MUCH easier..."

40m: Yaesu FT-1000D, Drake L4B
Dipole at 50 Feet

Operator: N3FX

Tony hooked up the voice keyer and did some
CQing as well as pouncing and tuning his way
through the 59 countries worked on 40m.

20m: Yaesu FT-1000MP Mark V, Ameritron
AL-1200, Force 12 C-3S at 55 Feet

Operator: N3MNM

John enjoyed working the rare Oceania multipliers
at 2:00am!

15m: Kenwood TS-950SDX, Drake L4B,
2 element Monoband Quad at 35 Feet. Thanks to
N3SB for the Equipment Loan

Operator: WX3B

Great band conditions this year on 15m. Wall to
wall stations since 10m wasn't open as well as
usual to Europe

10m: Yaesu FT-1000MP Mark V field, Ameritron
AL-1200, 2 element Monband Quad at 35 Feet,
dipole at 20 feet, 1/2 Wave Vertical

Operator: WX3B

Just a few minutes on this band this year.
Dissapointing that European opening was light
on Sunday

Congratulations to the team for an excellent part time, night time effort on
Saturday night! Let's do it again for WPX Phone at the end of March.

73,

Jim Nitzberg WX3B
