Comments:

Mr. Murphy nailed me with a bad cold the day before SS, but I still took my
little TS-480S, AL-80B, sleeping bag & Kleenex down to the N6IJ Club Station(PRO
67-C @ 60' & 80m Inv Vee at 50'). My operating ratio was about one nose blow for
each 3 QSOs, and had to take an unoffical 5 to 10 minute break each hour to keep
going. It was torture ;-(

No SO2R or Packet. The boredom of so many unanswered CQs was agony, and I
missed NNY of all things. Sunday afternoon I worked 5 W2's in a row and the
anxiety of hoping to receive NNY in the exchange almost did me in. Most of the
QRP contacts (11% of total QSOs) were a struggle with many repeat requests
necessary 'cuz they were beyond w-e-a-k.

IMHO, far too many ops had their RIT and/or XIT whacked out and were wayyyyy off
frequency when calling. I opened up the RX filtering and got tired of having to
turn the RIT knob so much and then doing a reset after the QSO.

Let me tell you it sure felt good to sleep in my own bed Sunday night!!!
