Comments:

Ken, ZL4HU and myself put up an elevated GP (@8m) the weekend before the
contest, by the time the contest came strong winds had caused damage to the
antenna and repairs had to be made. This was my first 40m only contest from
this part of the world, and a chance to air my new ZL call for the first time.
Conditions seemed good, but from this location deep in the south island all
contacts seemed like DXing with QRP!!

A plea to all those who use a callsign data base. PLEASE log what you hear,
many stations had my call correct, and then queried it and changed it to ZL4PW
(who is in the data base) followed by my desperate attempts to get them to
change it back to what they had copied in the first place!!

All in all an excellent weekend.
