That was FUN !
Except for the Thunderstorms and Intense Local Lightning
which shut me down from 1840 to 2020Z. Lost another
hour+ for dinner and mandatory Dog Walk (ask the Dog!)
Activity on 10 and 15 was so good that I didn't get to 20M until after 2000Z.
How could I miss CT and NY on 20M ??? and didn't get to 40M until 00Z with my
first Run on 40M at 0200Z. Working some of the close in mults proved to be
'challenging' at that hour.
I was concerned about 80M since my High Dipole fell down (Nylon Rope broke
after >10 years in the sun) and one of my Matchboxes developed a loose shaft
coupler so I ended up using my 80M Elevated GP which worked better than I
expected.
Radio Icom 746PRO (Great Little Radio)
160M Elevated GP (NW), Inverted L (NE)with parasitic reflector in between
80M Elevated GP (40 ft Tower with TH7 on Top and 8 Radials at 15 ft)
40M 2L40 at 95 ft, 100' Centerfed at 80 ft aimed at JA/SA i.e. KL7/FLA)
20M TH7 at 40 ft, 2L20 at 75 ft (NNE)
15M TH7 at 40 ft, 4L15 at 55 ft (NNE)
10M TH7 at 40 ft, 5L10 at 62 ft (NNE) with broken end director
(Plus TH6 fixed on SA i.e. FLA)
Toshiba Satellite Pro running Windows 98 and NA (Works GREAT - ask N4PN ! :-)
