Comments:

Only my second contest this year and first SSB test since CQWW 07. Felt a bit
rusty, even had a few 'duh' moments when it came to the station operating. Set
up the logging software wrongly and discovered that even my limited SO2R
efforts were made doubly difficult. 
Tried to squeeze 10m and 15m for as much as possible in the first 3-4 hours but
it was not very co-operative. 10m was very patchy with localised sporadic E. I
could hear some stations from Balkans region and later Spain running pileups
and all I had were two or three signals on the band and no pile-up!
40m bit of battle with QRM as usual. 80m noisy and hard to get anything going.
For some reason my 160m antennas either failed (invL) or had high SWR (dipole)
so I was limited to a frequency as low as possible in band and fingers crossed
that nothing blew up.

But it was fun!!!! Lost quite a few QSOs because the other guy could not
understand my attempts to explain the contest exchange. (Note for next year:
Crib sheet of translations in various EU languages of 'Which year did you
become a radio ham'!!)
