Comments:

Just got on to play a little, didn't fire up the amplifier thinking I wasn't
going to be able to spend much time at it.  Well, the bands were pretty good,
and it's hard to leave the chair when there is a good amount of activity, but
finally had to because it was snowing heavily at this QTH and needed supplies
from town.  The 4 element SteppIR @ 90 feet sure makes the exciter's 70 watts
seem like more, and great to see the high level of participation!  Little did
we know, that there was a Cycle 24 sunspot among the few on Ol' Sol! - the
first contest of the new cycle (if you believe it really is here!)
