Murphy Strikes again!

Today was supposed to be the big tower/antenna party here. Planned to add the
final section on the tower and hopefully install the 40m beam at least. Well
high winds, sporadic showers and threatening thunder storms put those plans on
hold for at least another week :(

Did manage to quickly rig a low doublet to get on for the sprint and try to
hand out the VE4 mult at least. 

20m was dead, just a handful of very weak 6's could be heard. 40m sounded
active but this doublet did not play as well as my Steppir vertical, but that
was broken again and not useable.

Tried 80m and the RFI from the low antenna kept setting off the fire alarm,
dropped power to 10 watts and was not able to grab anyone's attention. Pulled
the plug after a shortend 2 hours.
