Comments:

After doing the CQWW both modes, on single band 160 with 5 watts, (so far looks
like both first and last place in each contest in that category...LOL) decided
to step it up to QRO...so ran 100w and the inverted L..and had a great time!
In years past it was a city long wire and working a W0 or W9 was a big deal on
160. But with the guidance of the Spud Gun King K7ZS the long awaited Inv L was
up and over the 90' fir in the back yard, and the potato was non the wiser after
its flight.
This year it was the W1s who sent the ????, not the midwest. Midwest was all
pretty much one call, and did manage most of New England and the South this
time.

Friday condx were great east and west... w/ no EU heard. Path to JA seemed way
down, but UA0DC had a good signal at sunrise. Did stop to watch a movie, then
slept most the nite, til sunrise opening. Saturday, only on for a few minutes.

Wall to wall signals from 1800-1880 the whole time. Maybe will take another
jump up in power to a KW for January 160. On 160 it seems the jump from 5w to
100w is quite profound, and the next jump up to a KW an even bigger leap in
results. More so than on other bands, it seems.

Many called who CQed over and over with nanosecond pauses. One could easily
tell who had rx noise and who didnt. very evident.

Kudos to all who were able to stay up both nights, and garner those great huge
scores. And thanks to them for being on whenever we part timers could get on
the band.

DX worked: PJ, JA, XE, C6, HC8, KL7, KH6
