Wow!

It was an incredible time on 160 this weekend. We had the station record in
our sights from last year. Last year we had a score of 338,232 - 1609 QSO's
and 102 Mults.

This year we had great runs on EU stations so a lot more three pointers in the
bag. Along with more DX came more mults for a total of 122 this year. We had
last year's score by early evening Saturday. Can we do that again? Or will
this be the peak? We are willing to try again and see.

The beverages were not effective this weekend. We were hearing better on the
4-squares than the beverages thru the whole weekend. It was not that the
Beverage antennas were not working, they were fine. It was just that for
whatever reason the 4-squares worked better.

Mults:

Missed NWT

DX worked: 4O, 9A, CT, DL, E7, EA, EI, ES, F, G, GD, GM, GW, HA, HB, I, LY,
OE, OH, OK, OM, ON, OZ, PA, SM, SV, UA, UR, YL, JA,, UA9, 6Y, C6, FM, HI, KP2,
VP5, XE, ZF, HC, HC8, HK, P4, PJ2.

Always great to hear all the MWA signals on.

Thanks to Paul for the hospitality and tech support. It is nice to have a
staff technician to swamp amps as you are operating. We had trouble with the
Duo-Band 160 amp and had to slot in an Alpha. A quick cutover and did not miss
a beat!
