Comments:

*** NOTE: I recorded almost all my QSOs (missed a couple at the start). If you
want to hear your bodacious signal drop me an email at n2cu at roadrunner.com with
the specific QSO(s) wanted and I'll zip 'em up for you ***

That was fun, even with no propagation on 20m... again! After putting in 7
hours last year I vowed to give it a full-time effort this year. My wife had
other ideas ~8^( Missed the first 2.25 hours. OK, no chance to get a big score,
missing all those counties from the start, so made it a casual effort.

I've been fighting a S9 power line noise here since Fall. I decided to make a
3-element 135 MHz yagi to use with an aircraft band scanner for tracking it
down, so I took several breaks to work on that project. The antenna is made out
of 1/2" PVC with 1" tape measure elements. Folds up very nicely. Yes, I
sacrificed a brand new tape measure but it's worth it. Home Depot has Chinese
made 25' tape measures for less than $3. But I digress...

Thanks to all the mobiles that make this a great QSO party. It was non-stop
action. I even worked a mobile on 160m SSB! Love the contest format and
exchange, and hope to be back next year with some sunspots.

FT1000MP, TH6DXX 48', 40m sloper, 80m 1/2 sloper, 160m Inverted L 46', N1MM.

73,
Tom N2CU <><
