Comments:

Surely was nice to see some sunspot effects!  I had Ionoprobe open behind, and
looking through, the various N1MM windows and watched the SSN and "effective
SSN" increase during daylight hours, especially on Sunday afternoon (SSN
reached a high of 17).  I saw nice correlation between SSN and and how many QRP
signals boomed in, answering my running calls.  Is this what contesting could be
like when there are sunspots?  I wouldn't know--the contesting bug bit me after
the last sunspot peak...

This was my best SS CW effort (Q's, mults, score, and op time).  But when I hit
79 sections (75 is my historical high, in 2008), whatever strategy I had went
out the window, and I abandoned running mode, hoping to S&P and find the
elusive NL mult.  Perhaps a sweep next year.  Nonetheless, it was a thrill to
sit in the pile and finally work VE8EV for NWT--and at only 52 minutes into the
contest!  Thanks!

Cruising 160 meters on Saturday night was certainly better than cruising 10
meters at any time during the day.  The only station I heard on 160 was KV4FZ. 
One call got him--guess Herb wasn't very busy on 160!  Thanks, Herb.

Many thanks to all who participated and to the organizers.  Special gratitude
goes to the folks in the ARRL Contest Branch--you're gonna be busy getting the
results to the street in only 60 days!

Next year, high power for me (read: 700 watts, max, for our off-grid
photovoltaic system!).
