Comments:

New PB for me. It was one of those nights where SO2R came together perfectly and
it was all I could do to handle it. Sorry to those that called me but I couldn't
get back to or from the second radio soon enough, N8EA and N4OGW come to mind
and there were a couple of others.

This week I put up some new antennas with gain on each of the NS bands, to
supplement my old antennas.

The new 20M 5 element wire quad in the trees played really well! The west coast
was very loud. I moved my 40M dipoles back up to their usual 70' height, I had
been using one and it was only 30' high because of some storm damage. I put up
a 40M wire moxon beaming SW and I got the 3 el 80m phased array going this week
(it was a 2 ele) but didn't notice much out to the west coast as of yet. 80m
seemed pretty flat and weak tonight for some reason even on the dipole. I now
have phased verticals and a full sized dipole on 160M. They helped as I could
actually hear OGW and AF this week...re-connecting the beverages didn't hurt
either.

I hope this isn't the last time I work N4AF! Batten down the hatches Howie and
the rest of you guys on the east coast!

Thanks to all the NS'ers that followed K8DD/M around OH last weekend, you guys
helped out tremendously. I'll repay the favor to the TNQSO gang. I think we
worked W4NZ and K1ZZI in every county we were in.

See you next week.
Ian - K8MM
