Another nice SAC Contest!

Conditions were better than previous years. 10 meters was in good shape towards
parts of Scandinavia. Activity was good from Scandinavians as well as
Non-Scandinavians and QSO amount was up considerably for top-entries compared
to the last years.

Managed to work in total 35 stations on 5 bands - Thanks a lot!

SM: SL0W, SM5J, SA8C, SM5AOG, SJ2W, SM0BYD, SK6HD, SM5D, SM6CNN, SM6NET, SK3GM,
SK3A, SJ6A, SE0X, SM5R, SM2EKM, SM5MX, SM5DQE, SE5E, 8S0W, SM0IMJ, SE6E, SG5W,
SE6Y (24 stations)

OH: OH1F, OH8X, OH2BH, OH4A, OH9W (5 stations)

LA: LN3Z, LA3S, LA9TJA (3 stations)

OH0: OH0Z, OH0R (2 stations)

It seems that either Sweden was more active, or conditions on 10 meters at
least was more favourable from Moscow to there ;) I hope I did not forget any
station in the list above - just made a manual listing of 5 Banders. I am sure
Win-Test has some automtic function for this, but I failed to find it.

(I worked many 3/4 band QSOs also)

Thanks to UA3ASZ and RL3FT for allowing me to work from RK3AWL and for
preparing the station set-up in an excellent way. Thanks also to UA4HTT for
excellent coffee and sandwich service, for good company during the hard hours
during the middle of the night with VERY low QSO rates.

Short visit of Murphy during the night. One of the amplifiers were over-heated
temporarily by somewhat high SWR on the CW section of 80 meters (antenna tuned
for SSB-part). Also managed to disturb the neaby car spare parts shop Wireless
Internet connection, which meant that many QSOs on 10 meters were done using 50
Watts.

See you hopefully in the SSB part of the contest as well!

Good luck to all Scandinavian countries in the Scandinavian Cup (country
championship)!

R3/SM6LRR, Mats
