Comments:
The bands were in pretty good shape. Bob, W0BV mentioned that they were poor
earlier in the week (just before the contest). We were lucky this weekend.
The 1st night was OK and the 2nd night was better.
We did not meet or even come close to our previous Multi-Op effort. 2009 was
the last year for that as I was Single-Op last year. in 2009 we had:
2009 Summary Multi-Op:
Total: QSOs = 1661 State/Prov = 59 Countries = 76 Total Score = 803,520
Last year as Single-Op I had pretty much this same score as this year:
2010 Summary Single Op:
Total: QSOs = 1387 State/Prov = 58 Countries = 54 Total Score = 507,248
Activity seemed lower so maybe that explains the scores overall.
We worked all States and missed: LAB, NWT, YT, NU.
Is there more MB activity perking up? We worked 4 VE4 stations this year. It
is good to see MB not be so rare.
Countries worked:
4O, 9A, CT, CU, DL, E7, EA, EA6, EI, ER, ES, F, G, GD, GM, GW, HA, HB, I,
LA, LX, LY, LZ, OE, OK, OM, ON, OZ, PA, S5, SM, SP, SV, T7, TF, UA, UA2,
UR, YL, YO, YU, 5B, JA, UA9, EA8, FO, KH6, VK, 8P, C6, CM, FM, HI, KL,
KP2, KP4, V3, VP9, XE.
Another great time at "The Farm"!! Thanks to Paul and Mary for having us out
to play.
