Comments:

We spent the week leading up to the contest in VA Beach on vacation
while you all (locally) enjoyed a wet week. We had great weather, and I'm
sorry
to hear what you had to endure.
The contest was distracted by all of the events around the flooding and
the weather on Sunday evening. We had all of my in-laws who were
evacuated from Willkes Barre and my kids with flooded basements to
contend with.
Nevertheless I did manage to get my 8 bands going for more than half of
the contest. The top three bands (5, 10 and 24) did not get replaced on
the tower yet.
There was adequate activity whenever I was on; sometimes it's good to be
away for a little while.
You will see right from the summary that I did have an AM contact on
6m. A local fellow said he only had AM on 6m, so we had to try out his
Clegg Thor. He managed to copy my modern modulation, but I'm sure it
didn't sound anything like his Thor which had great plate modulation.
Thanks to the rovers who were out and great to work with, adding many
points.
73, Phil K3TUF FN10we
