Comments:
We rarely miss this contest, and I'm glad we did it this
summer despite the poor conditions. We had the "family" team
of KB0VVT, KG0US and KG0UT plus the resident alien K6UFO.
This was a good number, and I'm glad everyone could stay the
whole 12 hours. K6UFO got everything setup and operating,
but we had one radio that wouldn't transmit, so we just used
it for spotting new stations.
The start was very slow - half the normal rates. 10m never
delivered, 15m was only half it's usual. 20m was fine,
and later 40m and 80m were perhaps better than average.
Overall, we were a few percent short of last year, but that
is very good for the poor conditions.
Thank you to all the stations who participate. It is a very
friendly contest.
