Comments:

We had thunderstorms at the start, but they cleared up.  80 was still noisy
Saturday night, but somewhat usable.  As usual, 40 and 20 c.w. were my best
bands.  I had hoped 15 would be better, and 10 never opened at all here, as far
as I could tell.

I ran just my IC-746 at 5 watts, using a car battery I charged up and lugged
down to the shack. Antennas were my trusty all-band 80 meter C-F antenna plus a
fixed inverted vee 3 element wire beam west for 40.

I had to resort to some SSB to try to reach 600 QSO's, but sticking your head
into the phone portions, with 5 watts and a wire, is a bit like sticking your
head into a bees' nest!

All in all, this was fun, as usual! N3FJP's logging software performed
beautifully.  (I got a chuckle when I worked him and saw his "special" message
pop up on the screen!)
