Comments:

Fun run tonight, except computer and interfaces had a stomach ache in the middle
of the contest (actually, while working WN2K!), so I had to bow out for awhile.

But, I didn't mind, because I came back on, went to 40 meters, worked a few of
you, then just sat on 7.0295 and listened to my cross-town buddy, Joe Moffatt,
AB5OR, run a frequency. And, it was so much fun just listening to so many of
you lining up to call him. He's a great young operator (doggone thing got his
Extra at only 14 years of age!--and private pilot's license, too) who has is a
newbie to CWOps and the whole community has been so welcoming to Joe.

I was delighted to see him have such a great run tonight. He made almost 3900
points with his low power station (Flex and assorted antennas -- don't know
which aerial he was using tonight). Isn't that just great? Big pat on the
back to Joe!

'Twas so good to hear Mike, F5IN, and work him on 2 bands. Also, heard Gary
Van Winkle, K5KU, responding to calls, but he wouldn't do a run, so I missed
getting him in the log. He's a fine op, too, down in Louisiana.

OK, until next week. Keep firing those dits out into the techno-ether.

73 to all,
