Club: 599 DX Association

Comments:

This was supposed to be a 4AB operation for the 599 DX Association, however I
needed to cancel about 2 weeks ago due to my wife's illness... but, she was
feeling better this week and while I still wouldn't leave her alone I decided
to take one of the stations we were planning to use and setup a portable
operation at my QTH. Raised a Tennadyne T6 on a rope strung between 2 trees at
a whole 15' above ground level and Buckmaster OCF for 40m. Rig was a K2. 200W
of solar panels and 3x35aH deep cycle batteries for power. Operated fro a
portable building on my property. Was pleased with results and look forward to
a MM QRP effort by the club in 2016. Photos of my operation at
