Comments:

I'd planned to be busier over the weekend but a project I was working on ended
up consuming ALL of Saturday. I DID manage to get out on Sunday, going to the
Field Day site of a local club (Six Meter Club of Chicago, K9ONA) of which I am
a member, just before the end of their 24 hour operating time.

Since the contest time was almost over, I just operated from my mobile, rather
than operating as a participant of the club's effort (and half of my whopping
TEN QSOs were completed with K9ONA). I heard some strong signals calling CQ
from Texas on 6 meter SSB but got no response to my QRP replies to them...QRP
is tough on 6!

QRP was tough on 20 meter SSB, too, but thanks to the five stations who did the
heavy lifting to copy my QRP signal through the crowded spectrum. Nice to work
W3AO as one of those contacts but what happened??? *ONLY* 18A this year?

Thanks to the MANY clubs, other entrants and MANY, MANY who participated in
club efforts. Thanks also the ARRL for their support of this non-contest
contest.

73, JK
