Comments:

Tried the 1300Z Session because WX forecast was higher probabiity of
precipitation Didn't get set up along the North Country National Scenic Trail
as early as I had planned, and forgot my computer so was sening with my left
foot and the trusty J-38 foot pump, and logging by hand. Folks were generally
courteous and slowed down too my 16 to 18 WPM sending speed which is aboug as
fast as my left foot can go.

All on 40 meters. I have 20 meter capability, but not having optimized the
antenna for 20 makes it problematic So, I stayed on 40, and several of my QRP
friends found me after most of the CWT ops moved to 20. In fact, after the
majority moved, I actually had a run of some 6 or more Q's in a row, with only
1 CQ in between. So, there are enough "little pistols," as us LIDS
who don't care to run 1.5 KW out are called, who actually listen for signals
which are NOT 99 dB over S9 and will call a QRP op when desperate.

Note: a bit of hyperbole or sarcasm or both in the above paragraph.

24 Q's isn't bad for a QLF op sending with a foot pump and putting out 5 watts
to a semi-sloper antenna. Tnx to all who pulled me out.
