Comments:

Early in contests Iilstened on low end of 50 mHz for SSB/CW and hrd NIL.  Then
spent an hour or more trying to get N1MM and W.  SJT to work together so that i
could opeate FT8 where almost everyone on six was.  Finally googled info that
they don't work together without changing INI files or using additional software
so operated FT8 with paper log and decided to operate HP, about 600 watts.
Didn't know about contest mode.  Sorry.  
Sunday afternoon, my next door neighbor Tony, KK4JZP, operated FT8  first time
ever for an hour before thunderstorms caused us to shut down station. 

The FT8 was fun, but sure miss the CW and SSB activity of yesteryears.
