Comments:

K7ZS and Murphy spent a lot of time together this weekend!
With lots of station upgrades come new 'discoveries' when you put the pedal to
the metal! First time for an M/2 HP RTTY contest here, so lots of surprises!
WiFi access points rebooting, wife's comfy blanket needing to be 'rebooted'
(COLD here this weekend!) ... amplifiers and radios in a pissing match over
amplifier key lines, VPN Networking IP address scrambles ... of course we
operate with both local and remote users, so all the more fun when things don't
go just right. BUT, thanks to the operators for keeping what was going ...
going ... and investing lots of chair time. Big Thanks for those who visited
and especially Andy KE7AUB for dual ALL NIGHT VIGILS here, and Phil KB6MW for
keeping Andy company all Saturday night ... Phils first RTTY contest!. Also,
great to have Ken K7PAC and Mark KF7KXX spend all day here, honing their RTTY
skills. For the remote guys: Hank KR7X and Scott K7ZO, thanks for your patience
, and all the thanks possible to Joe NK7U who has contributed to the antenna
upgrade work this summer and some key upgrades. Through it all, we were M/2
this year but had a 180% increase in our score over last year. So, who's
complaining!
Bands better Saturday than Sunday ... 15m productive, caught a short opening on
10m, neither band very productive on Sunday, so 20m was like an LA freeway @
Rush hour. The IC-7610 does a great job on crowded bands!

See you in CQWW SSB in 4 weeks, gotta run - things to fix!
