Comments:

First, sorry for the confusion about my name. I go by "Ed" in NAQP CW,
which probably confused guys that know me. Of course, all of the FB CWT ops that
work me on Wednesdays know me as "Mitch" causing an additional layer
of confusion. Needless to say, lots of repeats on my name. I'll have to re-think
using "Ed" in the future.

First hour was good, totaling 186 Qs. I believe that's my best hour ever in NAQP
CW. Wednesday CWT practice has definitely helped improve my skills. The last few
hours of the contest were brutal. Strangely, signals on 80m were good, although
it felt liked most ops were somewhere else. No real volume to speak of. 

I don't know what happened to 160m. Signals back east were weak around the
03:30z hour and it was difficult to break the pile-ups. After struggling to work
anyone east of CO, I decided to concentrate on 40m and 80m, leaving 160m for
later when it should have been better. Wow, was I wrong. It was much worse. No
signals heard back east, and only a weak K5CM in OK with a pile-up I'd never
break. All of those missing mults would have greatly help my score. Very
frustrating.

Congrats to all of the gigantic scores in the top ten crowd, especially the top
five. Well done.
