At the start of the contest, 10/15m both sounded like the California QSO Party.

Higher-than-normal local noise level on both 20m and 40m made it hard to pull
out weak stations.

Never heard DC or ND.  Missed HI as well as half of the VE multipliers.  Not one
single XE station!
