Comments:

It could have been 801.

I always hate the large number of dupes I get in this test. More so than any
other. I always figure the person on the other side is not using a logger. More
likely, they busted my call so I always work dupes (while gritting my teeth).
This year, it happened to me. I worked a station and, when I hit ENTER, I must
have hit something else. The QSO went away... just like I wiped it. The person I
worked was gone. Well, I'll try later (it was a well known call) and
I did. I got QSO B4 back. I left it at that. We both lost the Q.

I did something similar to Gary N7IR. He called me, I pressed a key, and the
logger disappeared from the screen. I sat there in stunned silence. I didn't
even think to send QRX by hand. I finally figured it out in what seemed like
forever but was probably only 20 seconds. Fortunately, Gary stayed around.
My apologies OM.

I enjoy the Online Contest Scoreboards. I know it's only a small subset of the
contest participants but I usually find someone to compete against - even if
they don't know it. (I have enough imagination for both of us.) It's more fun
than competing against my last year's results. This year, that station seemed
to take notice. We spent the last couple hours going back and forth. Neither
of us was going to be the category leader but we were fighting for Nth place.
It kept my butt in the chair and it was fun. I had butterflies as the clock
ticked over.

Lack of adherence to the exchange format seems to be getting worse. The
exchange
is long. I get it. However, it's not fair if I follow the rules but you decide
to shave 4 seconds off each contact by not sending your call-sign. BTW, that
call-sign in the exchange has saved many a miscopied call-sign.

Missed VI and a good chunk of Canada.
