Club: DFW Contest Group

Comments:

Returned to Maya Hill after 3 years to operate the new station and participate
in CQWW CW. The hurricane that passed through a few weeks before did some damage
and made an all-band effort impossible. Decided to concentrate on 15m. Had a
blast from start to finish and all equipment performed flawlessly. 

I hadn't handled large CW pileups since I'd last operated from there so had some
re-learning to do. Was finally able to run a max rate of 4-5 QSOs a minute.

Missed zones 17, 18, 19, 34, and 37. Never found any of these when searching the
band and only saw a single spot for a z17.

I had a lot of fun and hope to do it again next year.
