At IB9T we are very late with the maintenance works after the usual damages
caused by the winter bad weather so, for the WPX SSB, we organized ourselves to
do only two SOSBs: IT9BLB on 10m LP and Valerio IU3BTY running the contest call
IB9T on 20m HP.
The G5 flare on Friday affected Saturday's operations a lot, making them tiring
and not very fun. On 10m Low Power it was a real torture, poor Asia and not even
a single JA on Saturday, on both days I had to work most of EU in side or back
scatter, without any usual short skip Es activity. Luckily on Sunday the
conditions improved considerably, allowing an interesting activity to all
directions. So, my 22nd WPX SSB is also history.
