[AMPS] Red Silicone Rubber

Hi All;

Where can I get a piece of the red silicone rubber, like the stuff Alpha 
uses in their Amps. ?  What kind of glue is used to bond this stuff?  

A friend of mine designed machine guns for the Bradly and said he tested
this material well past 1,200 Deg. F.  He made grips to remove hot barrels
out of this stuff.
