Rod: I'm sure others will have more detail for you but if it's any help,
I'm looking at 1965 and 1968 Heathkit catalogs and the SB-200 was
originally rated/advertised as follows:

Max power *input*: 1200 watts PEP SSB/1000 watts CW
(although the 1965 catalog specified 750 watts CW input, it had increased
to 1000 watts CW input by 1968!). *Note that these are input, not output
figures.

It uses two 572Bs or T-160Ls (interchangeable) and requires 100 watts of drive.

New kit price in 1968 ($US) was $220, $320 for the assembled/wired version.

Oh, and by the way, it's "handsomely styled" and "provides the 'ultimate'
in Amateur Radio Power."
