Easily. It could drive a pair of 3-500s or 4, 572s.

Not very well, if at all. One way to get a mistune is with alc.

I wud not use transceiver/amplifier alc. For ssb, onset time delay
causes problems. // Turning the drive power down to what is needed, and
letting the transceiver's alc manage the output, works ok. If the
transceiver has no output level control, add RF NFB in the cathode
circuit with a cathode resistor.
