Theoretically, if the impedance of the winding is high enough, there won't
be enough RF current to cause saturation. But this also needs some care so
that there isn't DC saturation - which suggests NOT using toroids.

However, experience has shown it isn't 'falling off a log' easy, and may not
be as cheap as a conventional approach.

As far as the 'coax' feed is concerned (the Hughes equipment), that sounds
very interesting. Very cunning!
