Hi Bob,

HENRY uses a short throw relay in the 3K Classsic X MKII and other amps that
will switch 1500 watts continuos.

I have used my 3K Classic X MKII at 2500 watts output through this relay
with no problems! HENRY uses the DPDT both sets of contacts tied together to
do this. (Used as SPDT)
Short throw mechanical, 10 ms switching time. 12 VDC. DPDT
See RADIODAN

  Subject: [AMPS] RF relays

Does anyone know of a source for inexpensive relays (i.e. less than vacuum
realy prices) that can switch 1.5kW of RF? This is for a low impedence (75
ohm) application, where I don't need speed. So rather than vacuum relays,
open frame types that can take RF is what I need. Any ideas? Bob N7UA
