[AMPS] 4E27's in grounded Grid operation

  I would like to hear from those of you that have
used 4E27's in grounded grid operation. I found a
military amplifier for 70 to 100 MHz that had the
tank coils removed, but most of it is still there.
And it would be easy to make an HF amplifier from it.
I'd put in 813's but I would have to replace the 
filament transformer. And not enough head room for the 
taller tubes.
  If you have some useful information please let me
know. Especially if you had problems.
