I understand the drawback is $3/ minute. But that's probably cheaper than a
radioman.

CW is fun for those of us that like it. As for outdated technology, think of
fishing. If I want to do it commercially and efficiently, I use a net - or
even dynamite. Not hanging around in the rain with a rod and line.
