[AMPS] Solid State Amps

Looking for info on the Yaesu VL-1000 and the Icom IC-PW1.
Does anyone have one and what are the impressions, how
loud are they, how dependable, actual power output,  etc etc.
Appreciate any first hand info..  a friend of mine is thinking of
selling his Alpha 77DX and buying one.  Thanks  73 Merv K9FD
