€ ..... seems reasonable, Peter .  Henry uses a filter capacitor with 
rather low ESR, and no glitch resistor in the hv pos. to limit peak fault 
current.

€  Yacht varnish is good, however, it shrinks when it dries,  leaving 
airways into the transformer windings.  Air brings moisture.
