And make damn sure that there's an interlock on the HV so that it REALLY is
off and discharged before you go to change that coil - I presume you're not
shunt feeding, so the coil will have the full HV on it.

BTW, suitable plug in coils can be usually be found at Dayton. Especially
the ones from BC610s - they were about 500 watts of AM so the coil should be
OK at 1500 watts PEP.
